Harborough Town U21s have wrapped up an outstanding pre-season campaign, finishing with a perfect seven wins from seven and building real momentum ahead of the new season.

The Young Bees produced a series of impressive performances throughout the summer, recording victories over quality opposition:

* Saffron Dynamo – 2-0
* YDA America – 2-0
* Coalville Town Development – 8-0
* Highfield Rangers – 3-0
* Cottesmore – 4-2
* Huntingdon Town – 2-1

* Uppingham Town – 9-5

Across the seven fixtures, the squad scored 30 goals, showcasing the attacking intent, defensive discipline and high standards that have been developed throughout pre-season.

While the results have been excellent, the summer has been about much more than winning football matches. Several exciting new signings have settled into the squad seamlessly, adding quality, competition and depth ahead of the new campaign.

The club has also strengthened its backroom team, bringing in additional staff who will play a vital role in the continued development of the players. Their knowledge, support and commitment will help ensure every member of the squad has the best possible environment to improve both on and off the pitch.

Head Coach Josh Unsworth reflected on the pre-season campaign:

“Pre-season has been everything we wanted it to be. The results are pleasing, but more importantly we’ve created an environment where players can develop, compete and enjoy their football. The new signings have integrated brilliantly, our staff have been exceptional, and there’s a real togetherness within the group. Now it’s about taking everything we’ve built over the last few weeks into the season and continuing our journey.”

With preparations now complete, Harborough Town U21s head into the new season full of confidence, togetherness and belief, ready to build on another exciting chapter in the club’s commitment to developing young players with their opening game on Saturday 15th away to Raunds Town FC.
