Harborough Town will take on AFC Rushden & Diamonds at the Beehive in the first round of the Isuzu FA Trophy, following today’s 1pm draw, revealed on the FA’s official website.
The tie brings together two clubs in close proximity, with the Bees & Diamonds separated by only a short journey across the Northamptonshire-Leicestershire border. AFC Rushden & Diamonds, who compete in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands, currently sit 16th after a mixed start to their league campaign.
The two sides last met at the Beehive in April 2024, during the Bees’ promotion season, with goals from Dylan Wilson and Ethan Johnston securing a 2-0 win for the Diamonds, inflicting a rare home defeat for Harborough.
The fixture is provisionally scheduled to be played on Saturday, 25th October, with a kick-off time of 3pm. Ticket information will be announced in due course.
Elsewhere in the draw, there are several notable fixtures, including Spalding United v Corby Town, Billericay Town v Bishop’s Stortford, and Alvechurch v Worcester City.
