Harborough Town Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Ryan McLean, who joins the Bees on loan from National League North side Buxton FC until the end of the season.

The 25-year-old winger arrives at the Beehive with experience across the EFL and National League system, having previously represented AFC Wimbledon, Hereford, Kidderminster Harriers and Yeovil Town.

A right-footed wide player with pace and directness, McLean has made 25 appearances for Buxton this season, registering two goals and two assists. He adds further attacking quality to Mitch Austin’s squad as the Bees enter the final 10 games of the 2025/26 season in the Southern League Premier Central.

Speaking on the signing, Bees Manager Mitch Austin said:

Ryan is a player with real pace, direct running with the ball and attacking quality in the wide areas. He adds another layer of quality to our attacking options and will complement the rest of the Bees’ forward line.

We’re looking forward to seeing Ryan get straight in, hit the ground running and help us maintain the momentum we’ve built heading into the final weeks of the campaign.”

McLean will be available for selection for this afternoon’s home fixture against Real Bedford at the Beehive.

The club would like to thank Buxton FC for their cooperation in making the move possible.
