Harborough Town Women’s First Team booked their place in the third round of the League Cup with a convincing 4–0 victory away at Marlborough Rovers.

Before kick-off, both sides observed an impeccably held minute’s silence in honour of Remembrance Sunday — marked respectfully by players, officials, and supporters alike.

When the match began, Harborough made the perfect start, taking the lead inside three minutes. Tor Morley picked up the ball in space and struck from distance, her shot dipping over the goalkeeper and into the net to open the scoring.

The Bees quickly doubled their advantage four minutes later when Dom Ratcliffe-McClelland’s effort was fumbled by the Marlborough goalkeeper and rolled over the line. The visitors’ early dominance continued, and within a minute, it was three. Georgi Holdsworth’s long-range strike took a deflection on its way past the stranded keeper to make it 3–0.

Harborough controlled proceedings after the break, dictating play and creating several chances without finding a fourth. Marlborough were handed a rare opportunity in the 72nd minute when awarded a penalty for handball, but the spot-kick struck the post and was cleared.

The scoring was completed late on when defender Isabelle Bradley stepped forward and unleashed a superb 30-yard strike to round off a dominant team display and secure Harborough’s progression to the next round.
