Kyle Hudlin Signs for the Bees

Harborough Town are delighted to announce the signing of striker Kyle Hudlin, who will wear the number 25 shirt for the Bees.

The 26-year-old adds Football League and National League experience to Mitch Austin’s attacking options, having represented Solihull Moors, Huddersfield Town, AFC Wimbledon, Burton Albion and Newport County.

Standing at 6ft 9in, the Birmingham-born forward made his name in Midlands non-league football before joining Solihull Moors in October 2020. He scored 17 goals in 69 appearances across two seasons with Moors, including the opening goal in the 2022 National League promotion final against Grimsby Town.

His performances earned him a move to Huddersfield Town in July 2022. Following a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon, Kyle scored on his competitive debut for the Terriers against Middlesbrough in the Carabao Cup in August 2023, and also gained Championship experience during his time with the club.

“At just 26, he already has some excellent experience, and his attributes will give us more firepower going forward. I’m delighted to welcome him to the club”

Further loan spells followed at Burton Albion and Newport County, where he scored six goals in 30 appearances during the 2024/25 campaign. He subsequently moved overseas to join Vietnamese side Nam Dinh in July 2025.

Speaking about the Bees latest addition, Manager Mitch Austin said:

“I remember watching Kyle score for Solihull in the promotion final at the London Stadium and have kept an eye on his career ever since.

“We met a few months ago through a mutual friend and, when I found out he was a free agent, I was naturally interested. What stood out first was Kyle as a person, before we even got to talking about him as a player.

“At just 26, he already has some excellent experience, and his attributes will give us more firepower going forward. I’m delighted to welcome him to the club.”

Kyle now heads to the Beehive to begin the next chapter of his career with the Bees and is eligible to play in the Emirates FA Cup First Round Match against Leyton Orient on Saturday.

Welcome to Harborough, Kyle! 🐝
