Harborough Town can confirm that Danny Newton has joined Southern League Premier Central side Alvechurch FC on a permanent basis following the mutual termination of his contract.
The forward’s move makes his stay at Alvechurch permanent, having initially joined the club on loan in October.
Danny made 40 appearances for the Bees, scoring six goals, and was part of the 2025/26 Southern League Premier Central title-winning squad that secured promotion to the highest level in the club’s history.
Among his memorable contributions was the winning goal away at Kettering Town in August 2025, securing a 1–0 victory in what would become a historic title-winning season for the Bees at Step 3.
Everyone at Harborough Town would like to thank Danny for his contribution during his time at the Beehive and wish him every success at Alvechurch and in his future career.
