Harborough Town Sign David Kamara on Season-Long Loan from Peterborough United
Harborough Town FC is delighted to confirm the signing of David Kamara from Peterborough United on loan until the end of the 2025/26 season.
The highly regarded 19-year-old striker arrives at the Beehive with a growing reputation, having progressed through Welling United’s academy before earning a move to League One side Peterborough United in 2024. Kamara has impressed in Posh’s Under-21 setup and has been involved around the senior squad, showcasing the pace, power and directness that made him one of non-league’s standout young forwards.
Capable of playing across the front three, Kamara brings athleticism, sharp movement and a goal threat to the Bees’ attacking unit. His development has also been recognised internationally, having been named in Sierra Leone’s provisional U20 squad ahead of the 2025 Africa U20 Cup of Nations.
The season-long loan provides Kamara with the platform for regular senior football, while adding further depth and dynamism to Harborough Town’s forward options as the Bees push for promotion in the Southern League Premier Central.
Manager Mitch Austin spoke to HTFC Media about Kamara:
“David is a really exciting talent. He’s explosive, works hard, and has a natural instinct for getting into good areas.
We’re grateful to Peterborough United for their support, and we’re looking forward to helping David continue his development with us.”
