On behalf of everyone at Harborough Town Football Club, the Trustees would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Football Board for their invaluable financial support towards our recent stadium and club facility upgrades.
This backing has played a vital role in helping us realise long-standing ambitions to improve the infrastructure of our club—not only for the benefit of our players and coaching staff, but also for the wider community that supports us so passionately. This money was made available off the back of the First teams remarkable run in the FA Cup, which resulted in us reaching the 2nd round proper, eventually losing out in extra time to ex-premier league club Reading FC. The money donated by the Football Board has gone towards projects such as; The new seated stand on the west side of the ground, the 2 covered standing areas on the east side of the ground, new external toilets, new turnstiles as well as all the new club branding in and around the clubhouse, which we sincerely hope, like us, enhances the facility for all that use it.
Weare proud of the progress we have made, and we recognise that these improvements represent more than bricks and mortar; they are an investment in the future of football in Market Harborough. From the youngest academy players to our senior squads, every member of the Harborough Town family will benefit from these upgraded facilities. Furthermore, these improvements strengthen our ability to host and support community events, making our club a hub for local engagement.
This is a transformative period for Harborough Town FC, and we are excited about the opportunities these developments will bring—not just in terms of performance on the pitch, but in growing the club’s role and responsibility within our town.
Once again, we thank the Football Board for their ongoing support and belief in our vision. Together, we continue to build something truly special.
We will be in touch with our Members again shortly to provide an update on our new operating structure as well as an introduction to the people that now make up both our Board of Trustees and Football Board.
