Morris

Alex Morris (Mozza) has been a rock for the Bees backline since 2023. He is most recognised for his physicality on and off the ball. Mozza has grown within the team and has become a commanding force on the pitch. The 6ft 6 centre-back landed at the Beehive after some time with Gresley Rovers where he was named Players’ Player in his final season. Alex Morris has had a steady journey through the football pyramid. His youth career began in the Port Vale academy before starting his senior career in non-league football. With experience in the UCL (United Counties League) and Northern Premier League Divisions, there was no doubt that Mozza was equipped to play in the National League system.

The 32-year-old has made just over 150 appearances for the club and has scored 11 goals. He made a significant impression during his first season as a Bee after being recognised as the Supporters’, Players’ AND Manager’s Player of the Season. This accolade proved that Mozza would be a reliable asset moving forward. That same season Alex Morris was part of the play-off winning side that was promoted from the Northern Premier League Midlands division.

The Wolverhampton-born lad has since won another title with Harborough Town. After winning the play-offs in 2024, Alex Morris was part of the set up that won the Southern Premier League Central in 2026. His strong presence in the air and calmness on the ball preserved an unbreakable defensive unit.
