O'Donnell

Archie is another youth development player who broke in the Bees first team. The homegrown talent had a vital role to play in one of the most successful u21s teams at the club. Archie captained the side during their league and cup winning campaign. The Young Bees won the Midland Football League Challenge Trophy with O’Donnell scoring a brace in the final and being named Man of the Match.

The young winger spent the majority of his youth career at Harborough Town. He had a short spell at Aylestone Park making some appearances for their Reserves Team. He managed to play once for the senior side, but it wasn’t long before he decided to return to his boyhood club. Archie’s leadership shown at a young age assured Manager Mitch Austin that it was the correct decision to promote him to the Bees first team. He officially made his first team debut during the Bees title winning season in the 25/26 season and made several matchday squad appearances.

Moving onto this season, Archie remains in the first team set up and currently has 1 National League North appearance. Archie’s ability to score from wider positions and further afield will hopefully be utilised as the season continues. U21s Manager Joshua Unsworth has always been quick to praise Archie for his strong work ethic and desire to succeed. He is the epitome of Harborough Town’s philosophy ‘One Club. One Pathway’.
