Arlott-John

Dempsey (Demps) Arlott-John had his first taste of playing at the Beehive in 2023 after signing an 18-month contract with the club. He joined Harborough Town as an exciting young prospect who had climbed the ranks within Leicester City’s academy. Demps then moved on and gained some more non-league experience with other clubs higher up the pyramid. Understandably, in 2025 Dempsey Arlott-John returned to the club after 3 years away and his newfound wealth of experience became very useful.

The 24-year-old winger initially left the Bees to play Step 2 football with Tamworth. Demps recorded over 20 appearances for the club and was part of a title-winning team. Tamworth won the National League North in the 23/24 season which promoted them to the National League. Moreover, Arlott-John made the switch to Brackley Town in December 2024 where manager Gavin Cowan stated that Demps could “unlock doors” and “bring something different to the team”.

Moving on to Dempsey’s current spell with Harborough Town, some could say it was as though he never left. Last season, the Englishman scored 2 league goals and 2 cup goals. These were crucial for the club’s push towards promotion. The Bees in fact went on to win the Southern Premier Central that season. Demps unfortunately suffered an injury towards the back end of last season and had been working his way back into the squad. The injury concerns have been soon forgotten about after Dempsey scored a perfect hattrick in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup this season to take the Bees through to the next round.
