Putman

Eliot Putman (Putty) became a Bee as of July 2025. The left-footed defender played a key role in the Harborough backline last season. Putty made 35 competitive appearances for the Bees during their promotion winning campaign. The left-back scored twice last season and recorded an assist. Eliot Putman is best known for his positional discipline and ability to play out from the back. Down the left flank, Putty carries the ball up the pitch and escapes danger with composure.

Prior to his move to Harborough Town, Eliot Putman had spent time with other Leicestershire sides such as Barwell and Coalville. More recently, Putty was a first team player for Peterborough Sports where he was named Manager’s Player of the Season in the 24/25 season. Making 37 appearances for the club and scoring 2 goals, Putman proved to be a consistent and reliable member of their defence.

He has now become a mainstay at Harborough Town and contributed to some memorable Bees moments. One of these being his dramatic stoppage time equaliser against Altrincham FC in the FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round. His first ever goal for the club forced a replay at home against the National League side. This gave the Bees another chance at progressing through the competition like they had done in the previous season.
