Taylor

Elliot Taylor has been the leading shot-stopper for the Bees since 2020. With over 150 appearances for the club, he has solidified his place in between the sticks. The Leicester born keeper has been part of three different promotion winning sides and was named Best Step 5 goalkeeper in 2022.

Taylor has been goalkeeping around Leicestershire for the majority of his career. Before arriving at Harborough Town, the 28-year-old had experience as a squad player for Nuneaton Borough. However, his breakthrough as a regular first-team keeper arrived once he’d joined Harborough Town. Notably, Elliot Taylor was recognised as the Supporters’ Player and Players’ Player of the Season after recording 16 league clean sheets during the 25/26 title winning campaign for the Bees.

The Bees No.1 is best known for his long-range distribution and producing crucial stops. Taylor played a vital role in Harborough Town’s memorable FA Cup second qualifying round comeback over Worksop Town last season. His penalty save at 2-0 down restored hope for the Bees and sparked an emphatic victory. The boys in yellow ended up progressing all the way to the Second Round Proper that year which would not have been possible without Taylor.
