Dolman

Liam Dolman (Bully) has been with the Bees for 2 years now. Some would describe him as one of the most experienced players in the Harborough Town squad. Bully has spent time playing in the EFL and National League system alongside an impressive non-league career. The 6’2” centre-back came through Northampton Town’s youth system before making his first senior appearance on loan at Aylesbury United in the 2005/06 season. He then returned to the Cobblers and broke into the first team, making his League One debut in the 2006/07 season.

After making around 44 league appearances for the club, Dolman made the switch to National League side, Kidderminster Harriers. His time with the club was rather short before he was sent on loan to Corby Town in 2010. Bully travelled around Northamptonshire playing for a variety of non-league clubs after this time including Daventry Town and AFC Rushden and Diamonds. His time with Rushden and Diamonds is arguably the most memorable due to 8 fantastic seasons with the club and becoming captain. Liam Dolman not only led the backline, but he scored some amazing goals for the club too. In their title winning 2014/15 season, he netted 13 goals in 38 appearances earning him Manager’s Player of the Season and a Goal of the Season award.

Moving onto his time with the Bees, Bully’s leadership qualities were highly valued. Manager Mitch Austin highlighted the importance of these alongside his experience and ability. Liam Dolman knows what it takes to compete at the highest level which certainly helped the squad during the 25/26 title charge. In the promotion winning season, the Northampton-born lad made 37 league appearances and scored 4 goals. Therefore, it is undeniable that Liam was a major part to last season’s success.
