Morgan

Rob Morgan (Morgz) joined the Bees in January of 2025. The central midfielder has made roughly 47 appearances for the club, scoring 4 goals in total. Morgz was an integral part in both the Bees push for playoffs in 24/25 and their title winning campaign in 25/26. Rob Morgan’s senior career started in the non-league scene with spells at St Andrew’s and Corby Town. However, the 30-year-old was best recognised for his time with Stamford AFC.

Morgan initially made the move to Stamford in 2017 but became an established player during his second stint at the club. Morgz went on to become club captain and retained this role until his move to the Bees. During his time with Stamford, Rob Morgan had won Supporters’ Player of the Year and an award for the most Man of the Match awards. It was clear that his leadership qualities would be very beneficial to Harborough Town.

The former skipper was described as a calming influence to the Bees side and his composure and experience allowed them to have greater control in matches. Morgz is best known for retaining possession and settling the tempo of play when necessary. During the title winning season, Rob Morgan made 30 league appearances and scored 3 goals. His relaxing presence on the pitch has been missed at times this season after Rob unfortunately faced an injury during preseason which has meant he is yet to play in the National League North campaign.
