Mitch Austin Signs New Three-Year Deal
Harborough Town Football Club are delighted to confirm that First Team Manager, Mitch Austin has agreed a new three-year deal with the club.
A huge part of the success achieved over the past five years has been driven by Mitch’s hunger, standards and desire to continually improve — qualities that have consistently transferred onto the pitch through the players.
Following a historic period which has seen the club secure three promotions in five seasons, this new agreement ensures continuity and stability as the club prepares for life in the National League North.
With increasing interest from across the football pyramid, it was important for the club to act swiftly to secure the long-term future of one of the brightest young managers in non-league football.
On his new deal, Austin commented:
“I’m really delighted to have the opportunity to stay at the club for the next three years.
“The success we have enjoyed together has been nothing short of amazing. I’ve had some of the best moments of my short managerial career at this club, with three promotions, and to now have the opportunity to manage Harborough Town at National League North level is something I didn’t dream of when I first got the job.
“My main focus is to carry on bringing success to the club and the fans, and to stabilise ourselves in the league.
“Thank you to Pete Dougan and the rest of the board members for their continued support.”
Further announcements regarding backroom staff and players will be made over the coming days and weeks.
