Harborough Town Community Trust are delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Tindle as General Manager.

Craig joins the Trust at an exciting period in the club’s development, bringing around 15 years of experience in the operational management of sports facilities and a strong track record of delivering positive outcomes for clubs, communities and participants.

Following a recruitment process that attracted more than 80 applications, Craig emerged as the standout candidate and will now lead key areas of the Trust’s operations, supporting the continued growth of grassroots football, community engagement and facility development at the Beehive.

The appointment represents another important step in the club’s long-term vision to strengthen its community impact and ensure the facilities and structures around the club continue to develop alongside the success being achieved on the pitch.

Harborough Town Community Trust Vice Chair of Trustees and Football Board Member, Paul Mullins, said:

“We are delighted to introduce Craig as the new General Manager of Harborough Town Community Trust.

“We had over 80 applications for the role and I’d like to thank everyone who showed an interest in joining us. It’s testament to the growth of the club – on and off the pitch – that we attracted such a high volume and high quality of applicants.

“Craig was the outstanding candidate in our opinion, with around 15 years of experience in the operational management of sports facilities as well as being a strong cultural fit for the club.

“As one of the largest grassroots football clubs in the country, Craig’s appointment is an exciting next step in our journey. We already have a brilliant management structure in place for our first team, led by Mitch Austin, and Craig’s appointment is an active effort to develop the parts of our club that are linked with our grassroots football, work in the community and ensuring we maximise and sustain our facilities.”

Speaking following his appointment, Craig Tindle added:

“I am incredibly excited and honoured to join this football club at such an important time in its journey.

“From the moment I arrived, I could feel the passion, pride and sense of belonging that make this club so special.

“My focus is on building sustainable growth both on and off the pitch, while strengthening the connection between the club and the community that supports it.

“Together with our players, staff, supporters and local partners, we will work to create a positive environment where everyone feels part of the club’s future.

“I look forward to helping drive progress, creating new opportunities and ensuring the club continues to thrive for years to come.”

Everyone at Harborough Town Football Club and Harborough Town Community Trust would like to welcome Craig to the Beehive and wish him every success in his new role.
