Harborough Town Football Club and Harborough Town Community Trust, is pleased to announce the appointment of Laurence Jones as Interim General Manager, with immediate effect, on a voluntary basis.
In this role, Laurence will oversee the day-to-day running of all club operations. All existing staff and contractors will report into the Interim General Manager during this period. The role reports jointly to Andy Winston, Acting Chair of the Board of Trustees, and Peter Dougan, Chair of the Football Board.
Laurence is very well known to our members and wider club community and brings a wealth of experience in the operational running of football clubs.
In addition to his extensive practical experience, Laurence is currently working for The FA, providing valuable insight and perspective that will support the club during this important period.
It is important to state that this is an interim, voluntary appointment, that Laurence has kindly agreed to take on whilst the club undertakes the process of appointing a permanent General Manager.
Further updates will be shared with members at this years AGM where a full overview of our new 5 year plan, incorporating, “Project Ascent” will be presented to our members, which the implementation of will be overseen by the Current Chair of the Board of Trustees, Adam Cookson.
