Harborough Town’s second half showing proved too dynamic for Loughborough Dynamo as the Bees claimed three points with three goals.

It was the away side who nearly took the lead in the first half through James Tague, who saw his left footed curler crash against the crossbar, before Rhys Hoenes broke at the other end only to be denied by the joint efforts of Lewis King and his defence.

The Bees started the second half as they meant to go on, with Joel Carta’s daisy cutter of a strike bulging the bottom corner of the net, giving them the lead.

Substitute James Ireland doubled the advantage with his rebounded penalty, after King saved the initial effort, before another substitute, Nat Ansu, wrapped the game up with a chip that squeezed in under the bar to reward Harborough for their dominant display.
