Harborough Town  0
Stourbridge 1  (Portman 90+2)

After six straight victories, Harborough Town’s winning run came to an end as Harvey Portman struck at the death to claim all three points for Stourbridge. The visitors thought they got off to the perfect start as Jordaan Brown had the ball in the back of the net but the goal was chalked off due to an offside call. The Bees grew into the game and created big chances of their own as Luis Rose was denied by the onrushing Callum Smith, before Smith tipped over a curling Josh Walsh freekick moments after. Shots from Stourbridge’s Elliott Durell and Harborough’s Ben Starkie saw out the half as both sides sought after the opener, but the score would remain level at the break.

Smith was called into action once more at the start of the second half as the Stourbridge shot-stopper diverted Starkie’s low drive wide of the post as Harborough started strongly. Josh Walsh was given the opportunity to put the hosts ahead after the lively Jutorre Burgess was tripped in the box, but the Bees captain was unable to convert from the spot. Spurred on by this, Stourbridge grew in confidence as Tyrone Barnett enjoyed chances, before Vladimiro Granjal Martins Pais saw his shot whistle inches past the upright as the game reached the closing stages. Following a superb stop from Elliott Taylor low to his right, Harvey Portman found himself in the right place at the right time to poke home in stoppage time to secure the win for his side.
