Anstey Nomads recovered from going a goal down to take all three points against league leaders Harborough Town.
The best chance in a cagey first half came early on as Joel Carta’s daisy-cutter forced Conrad Logan into a smart save down to his left to prevent the Bees taking the lead.
A flurry of blocked Harborough shots followed before Anstey launched their own attacks, with efforts from Freddie Robinson and Luis Rose failing to hit the target.
The second half began with a greater intensity, and it was the home side who capitalised as Carta guided his shot into the top left-hand corner to put his side ahead.
Anstey looked for a quick reply as Lewis Gibbens’ header was cleared off the line by Carta, but Nyle Blake’s curler ten minutes later put the away side on level terms.
Ant Lynn’s powerful strike beat Elliott Taylor at the near post as Anstey turned the game on its head, before weathering a late Harborough onslaught, culminating in a strong Logan save to deny Kai Tonge’s point blank header
