4G on its way.

Official Club Statement regarding the new 4G pitch to be laid start of season 2018-19 ….

Harborough Town Community Trust are working closely with Harborough District Council and the Football Foundation to deliver a second artificial pitch at Bowdens Park as part of a wider project that will see a reconfiguration of the football and rugby pitches with the artificial pitch providing additional capacity for the community as the population of the town continues to grow

The Chairman of Trustees commented this is an incredibly exciting project as we look to create the first grassroots community football hub in the country that will be accessible for everyone in the local community. The town continues to grow and it is vital that our sporting and recreation facilities are able to meet increased demand Harborough Town is already one of the largest football clubs in the country and we forecast continued growth over the next five years

Once all of the funding is secured the installation of the new pitch is planned to commence in April 2018

The community trust is indebted to the continuing support of Harborough District Council The FA, The Football Foundation and the Leicestershire and Rutland County FA
