Due to the success of the Academy Development Section at the club, we are now looking for players who wish to embark on a challenge in their football development.
We are recruiting players for U12, U13, U14 and U18.
HTFC Academy was formed only 2 seasons ago and since then it has produced 3 teams; U12, U13, and U16s. For the forthcoming 2021/22 season our U12, U13 and U14 will play on Saturday mornings in the Midland Junior Premier League (MJPL), whilst last seasons’ U16 Academy team will play both Midweek and Saturday in the MJPL U18s league as that is the next step from their current level.
The club offers a constructive player pathway from youth to seniors – Our 1st team play in the United Counties League at Step 5 and the Reserves play in the UCL Reserves Division. As part of their football progression, some of our youth U18s have made the step into senior football, which is a tribute to their hard work and desire to progress as senior players.
The club’s ambition is to progress up the National League System pyramid with home grown players from within our own talent pathway that forms part of the club’s overall player development strategy.
