Harborough Town Women 7  (Jess Seaton 18’, 19’, 23’, 29’, 73’, 75’, 90’)
Coalville Town Devs 0

Leicestershire League – Division 2
Sunday 9th March 2025

Harborough Town Women continued their dominant run with a commanding 7-0 victory over Coalville Town Devs on Sunday, securing their seventh consecutive win. The match was a special occasion, dedicated to both International Women’s Day and the five-year anniversary of the Queen Bees.

Jess Seaton was simply unstoppable, netting all seven goals and taking her season tally to an incredible 40. The in-form striker wasted no time getting on the scoresheet, scoring four times in just 11 minutes (18’, 19’, 23’, 29’) to put Harborough in complete control by halftime. She added three more in the second half (73’, 75’, 90’), capping off an extraordinary individual display that earned her the well-deserved Player of the Match award.

While Seaton’s finishing rightly grabs the headlines, this performance was a testament to the collective strength and quality across the team, allowing every player to thrive in their role. The midfield played a crucial part in orchestrating attacks with pinpoint deliveries and intelligent play, while the defence put in another rock-solid shift to secure a well-earned clean sheet. Harborough coach, Harry Fordham has found the winning formula, and every player on the pitch has stepped up to execute it to perfection.

With many other teams battling for points next weekend, Harborough will enjoy a rare break in the schedule. When they return, they’ll be looking to extend their incredible winning streak even further.
