Harborough Town FC are delighted to announce the signing of Jutorre Burgess from the Emerging Talent Programme. 18-year-old ‘Torre’ is the first of what the club hope will be many to sign for the first team from our newly formed u23 development team, that was introduced at the start of the 2024/25 season.
Joint coach of the u23 team, Josh Unsworth, said of Torre’s promotion to the first team squad; “Torre is a great lad, and hopefully this shows that there is now a real pathway from the Emerging Talent Programme into first team football at Harborough Town FC. We are delighted to see his progression and hope this is the start of many more to progress into the first team”.
First team manager Mitch Austin added; “This is exactly what we want from the u23 team. It has surprised me just how quickly this has happened but there is some real talent in that squad and we hope to be able to give other players the opportunity to play step 3 football with Harborough Town FC”.
