April is Autism Awareness month. April 2nd is the “Official” World Autism Awareness day and ASD affects an estimated 700,000 children and adults in the UK alone.
Across Harborough Town we have players throughout our teams whom are affected by ASD, whether it is themselves or a family member, and whom enjoy playing and supporting our club – this includes our very own First Team Manager Mitch Austin and Maz Hayton who both have family members diagnosed with ASD, and as part of our 3 star accreditation we are proud to partner Wigston Foxes Inclusive football team.
So, this April please join us and let’s celebrate the incredible uniqueness and strength of individuals. Together, we can promote understanding, kindness, and inclusion for all.
